Episode 16 - 人工智能搶了我的工作嗎?/ Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) stealing my job opportunities?

Professor Michael Lyu, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, talks about how he chose to major in Electrical Engineering in college through a compromise between his passion for literature and his father's expectation for him to pursue medicine. Now, he is recognized among the 100 most influential AI scholars. He talks about how STEM(science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education can be incorporated into helping children develop their passion. He also discusses how although AI is gradually replacing human contact and less intellectual and repetitive tasks, we don't need to worry about AI stealing our job opportunities. Instead we can apply AI as an auxiliary tool to boost the creativity and affective abilities that are unique to humans.
